We are a family business, founded by two brothers with a strong passion for finance, technology and data.
Our story
Our entrepreneurial journey began as two young brothers brainstorming ideas in our matching Looney Tunes t-shirts…
During 2020, we worked from home together and observed a common problem in technology companies – high growth, but a financial reporting infrastructure which lagged behind.
While preparing companies for transaction processes, founders repeatedly commented that the best management information they ever had was at the point of sale.
So we thought.. “why don’t we provide these valuable insights to companies earlier in their growth journey?”. This led us to found Finomatic Consulting.

We are a family business. This means no internal politics or staff turnover – our sole focus is high-quality delivery. You will also have a single point of contact for the entire engagement.
We spent years dealing with founders and investors on corporate finance transactions, so we are well positioned to be the intermediary between investors and their portfolio.

Meet the founders
Cameron is Founder and Director of Finomatic Consulting. Prior to this, he spent 10 years specialising in corporate finance, accounting and data analytics at:
- WY Partners – M&A and fundraising support for owner managed businesses in the technology and media sector.
- Chiene & Tait – M&A and fundraising support for Scottish technology, consumer brands and media companies.
- PwC – Accounting services to FTSE 100 clients.
Cameron attended Clemson and Aberdeen universities before completing his Chartered Accountancy with ICAS. Cameron is also a Full Stack Modeller and continues his education through courses in data analytics (M, DAX, Power BI, SQL) and financial modelling.
Outside of the office, Cameron is a scratch golfer and considers himself a semi-unprofessional master chef which has led to a fair share of disasters.
Nicholas is Founder and Director of Finomatic Consulting. Prior to this, he spent six years specialising in investment management, data analysis and automation solutions at:
- LPA – External projects for Sales, Operations and Finance departments of large multinational banks.
- Bank of Montreal – Internal projects in Sales, Marketing and Client Reporting teams.
Nicholas attended Durham and ESCP universities before completing his Chartered Financial Analyst qualification with the CFA Institute. Nicholas is also a Full Stack Modeller and continues his education through courses in data analytics (M, DAX, Power BI, SQL) and financial modelling.
Outside of the office, Nicholas can be found preparing home made ice cream and losing to Cameron at golf. A passion for travel has also developed into speaking five foreign languages (Arabic, French, German, Italian and Spanish) and hiking four of the world’s Seven Summits.
